Super Friend

"Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for a friend."
John 15: 13

You know what's so amazing about Jesus? Well, there's TOO many things to name, but we can say He calls us His friend. He's such a great friend that he chose to die on the cross for us when He could have stayed in Heaven and made us die for our own sins! How amazing.

Every day, as G.O.O.D. Girls, we have to remember to be grateful to Christ for the sacrifice He made for us. God loved us so much that He sent His son to die in our places. Could you imagine going through what He did?! NO WAY. And do you think your parents would let you go to prison for a crime your friend committed or worse, die for it?! NO WAY.

So, TODAY and EVERYDAY let's strive to show God just how grateful we are for His life and for being such a great friend!

G.O.O.D GIRLS!

I hope these days have been wonderful for you! I just briefly want to remind you of some things.

I know that life can be really discouraging sometimes. Maybe you applied for a job and didn't get it, tried out for a team and didn't make it. And I know these economic times are troubling, too. So maybe money is tight, but the G.O.O.D. news is...God has something greater in store for you! Yes, we will get things on Earth because the bible says we can ask whatever we want in His name and it shall be given to us (As long as it is pleasing and in God's will)! But the great news is, we have an even greater reward in Heaven!

We get so caught up in this life that we forget just how much life we have left to live! We were created for eternity and if you've accepted Christ you will spend eternity in glory with Him! So, why are you worried about what happens here? Romans is one our favorite books here at G.O.O.D. Girls. It reminds us how to live life as Christians, especially early on in our walk. In Romans 8, Paul reminds us that what we go through on Earth is NOTHING compared to the GLORY that we will receive later from God! That is enough comfort! He promises that EVERYTHING works out for our good!

So, stop worrying about whatever you're going through. Boyfriends, friends, finances, jobs, success, failure, what to do in the future and TRUST that God is going to work it out. And even if it's not worked out TODAY, the Glory we will receive later is worth this little stuff we go through!
